My name is Mike Sullivan and i'm President and Owner of 11 auto dealerships in Southern California. I developed the LAcarGUY brand and website in 1999 so my customers could easily view the inventory of all of my dealerships in one place.

My father, “Sully”, opened his first VW dealership in Santa Monica in 1964. Just as I followed my father into the family business, my two sons, Sean and Kelly, are helping me carry on the Sullivan tradition of community involvement and customer service.

Nothing is more important to me than my customers. It’s what my Dad believed in, it’s what I believe in and it’s what I have instilled in all of my employees (including my two sons). I’m extremely proud of the fact than an incredible 75% of our business comes from repeat customers and referrals.

Our dedication to customer service has translated into enormous growth for the LAcarGUY family of dealers, which now includes 11 dealerships and two body shops. The LAcarGUY.com website has also evolved, allowing customers to browse thousands of new and pre-owned cars, build and save their dream car, save searches, compare models, schedule service, order parts and more. LAcarGUY.com is truly Southern California’s most comprehensive dealer website.

The Sullivan/LAcarGUY family continues to give back to the community donating and volunteering for organizations such as: The Red Cross, United Way, MADD, Heal the Bay, Boy Scouts of America, and the Association for Breast Cancer, to name a few.

I'm an avid skier/snowboarder and surfer with a passion for race cars. In 1999 I was a participant in the Long Beach Toyota Grand Prix, Pro-Celebrity Race and was invited back for a second time in 2005.
